Joseph Michael Will – Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr Joseph Michael Will first graduated from State Universty at Oswego, NY with an Bachelors of Science in Technology Education and completed his student teaching in middle and high schools around Syracuse. During that time he was discovering the chiropractic profession as a patient due to various sports related injuries and soon was accepted into New York Chiropractic University in late 1993. He graduated with honors in 1997 and soon after traveled to Costa Rica where he learned to speak Spanish, dance a bit of salsa and immediately began to attend patients in athletic clubs and sporting events around the country. Within a year he was working full-time in his own clinic in the capital city, San Jose, taking the requisite breaks for windsurfing in the gorgeous and windy Lake Arenal.

In 2000 he received an offer to come and work in a large clinic in Cancun, and his desire to continue traveling and discover different cultures brought him to Mexico. A love of water sports and appreciation of Mexican culture, cuisine and climate has kept him here for 11 years.

Dr Will practices Diversified Osseous Adjusting technique combined with postural assessment, trigger point and myofascial work (such as ART and GRAASTON), and flexion-distraction technique as taught by Dr. James Cox. Every patient receives a personalized therapeutic stretching regimen based on the muscular imbalance that they present with. He has been involved with the SANAR clinic since its inception, having met and worked with Dr Suarez in the ANGEL NOTION social service clinic in the NICTE-HA community in 2007. When not in the clinic he can be found kitesurfing in diverse locations of the peninsula or traveling the world with his paraglider.
