In Centro de Medicina Intgrativa SANAR we offer much more than relaxing massage. Our main therapist, the bilingual Señora Carmen Martinez has studied and worked closely with Dr Joseph Will and is proficient in Trigger Point therapy, Active Reflex Therapy and even uses GRAASTON tools for breaking up old scar tissue (helpful for those nagging shoulder and knee problems.) She has quickly learned the majority of therapeutic stretching courses that we implement with our chiropractic patients and will be happy to review them with you if you´ve forgotten. Don’t let her small size fool you; Carmen is a powerful body worker who will leave you feeling balanced, renewed, and positively changed. Physical therapist Adriana Vaquet studied extensively in Argentina and has worked many years utilizing modern modalities such as electrostim, ultra sound, therapeutic electro-magnet applications as well as guiding her patients in exercises for rehabilitation. She continues to work morning hours in the DIF of Playa del Carmen and is available most evening hours in Sanar. Many patients find that the synergy of therapeutic massage, physical therapy and spinal manipulation as guided and coordinated by the chiropractic physician provide the extra impulse for overcoming long standing musculoskeletal problems. |
