Jin-Shin-Do

(Jin-compassion/shin-spirit/Do-path)

Jin Shin Do is an acupunctural therapeutic massage developed in Japan during the 60´s. It applies the traditional principles of acupuncture (based on the “extraordinary meridians” acting like shortcuts between 2 meridians to balance the body energy).

It´s a technique that uses finger pressure on acupuncture points, detecting those associated with physical problems and feelings such as anxiety, depression, and rage, among others to transform them and release them.

It is different from acupuncture based on the absence of needles and instead a contact that evoques a sense of support, acceptance and safety. This technique produces a profound state of balance and relaxation, as well as the healing of chronic physical and physiological tension.

The ancient Chinese Taoists discovered that the area behind the navel is the most crucial energy hub and powerful body. Any discomfort or blockage in this area hinders the free flow of vital energy

How it works?

It is a way to apply the energy (chi) to the body through massage of a series of points around the navel area and internal organs to increase the flow of energy into them. The navel plays a key role in our body because it is directly connected to any other body part and work on it can affect the entire body. Many healing systems work more on the periphery of the body, while the Chi-Nei-Tsang works directly on the internal organs, correcting any structural imbalance and help organs and other systems (like digestion, respiration, lymphatic, endocrine, urinary , reproductive, musculoskeletal) to operate harmoniously
